'Soldiers of Islam' Motorcycle Gang whose members include former Iraqi soldiers, has been discovered operating in Australia,

"new motorcycle gang called Soldiers of Islam, whose members include former Iraqi soldiers, has been discovered operating in Australia, The Courier-Mail reported Monday.

In a worrying development, Australian police recently discovered pictures of fugitive al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden at the home of one gang member.

Photos of bin Laden were found during a criminal investigation at the property on Queensland's Gold Coast, about 50 miles south of Brisbane.

Soldiers of Islam, also known as Sons of Islam, is believed to be an offshoot of outlaw biker gang the Bandidos.

Sources said the gang is comprised of young Muslim men who sport 'SOI'' tattoos.

While only small in membership, the gang is coming under increasing attention from police investigating biker links to crimes involving drugs, guns and violence.

The Courier-Mail understands that apart from the bin Laden photos, police did not find any terrorism-related material at the Soldiers of Islam member's house."
