Biker gang: Portland Kimberlin Club targeted "POLICE are keeping an open mind as to whether the same motorcycle gang are responsible for numerous raids on businesses in Weymouth and Portland.
Two men were seen to flee after a break-in at the Kimberlin Club on Portland in which money was grabbed from a lottery ticket machine.
The following night two men made off on a motorbike after a hairdressing salon in Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth, was targeted.
Police said there were "similarities" between the incidents. A force spokesman added: We are keeping an open mind and would obviously appeal for any information.
Thieves smashed their way into the Kimberlin Club in the early hours of Monday using a garden fork which was left at the scene. Raiders broke a window and a bar door to get to the lottery machine."
