Biker Dad: Harley Davidson recalling 10,000 motorcycles

It's one of Harley's newest lines of motorcycles. Now, it's also the company's newest target of a safety recall.

The motor company is recalling more than 10 thousand of its "Street" family bikes. Those are the smaller 500 and 750 cc bikes aimed at urban markets.

The recall is due to a poor seal at the fuel pump that can cause the bikes to sputter, then suddenly begin accelerating again. This could cause a rider to lose control. This happens in low fuel situations, but can happen even before the low fuel light comes on.

Harley will fix the part at an authorized dealer.
