BIKER NEWS: Bikers to speak about cross-country journey
BN- On Oct. 2, Bernardsville residents Avery Starkey, Tom Solymosi and Brad Fransson will discuss their 27,000-mile motorcycle ride to the farthest points in the United States.
The journey, which began in April, took the trio to Quoddy Head, Maine; Key West, Fla.; Border Fields State Park, where San Diego and Mexico meet in the southwest, and Dead Horse, Alaska.
The bikers will speak about their trip through 49 states, visiting national parks, monuments, forests and museums. They will share experiences, photos and anecdotes of dealing with breakdowns, fast-changing weather and self-doubt.
The program will take place at 7 p.m. at the Bernardsville library and is free, but advanced registration is requested. To register, visit bernardsvillelibrary.org or call 908-766-0118.
The library is located at 1 Anderson Hill Road.
