BIKER NEWS: Devils Ghosts biker gang members face drug, weapons charges

BN- Five men believed to be connected to the Devils Ghosts biker gang are facing drug and weapons charges after a raid earlier this week.

Matthew Richiot, Michaël Petardi, Sergio Nesparoli and his son, also named Sergio Nesparoli, as well as Gino Nesparoli were arrested during a joint police operation on Tuesday in Montreal North and Rivière-des-Prairies.

"We seized several items like four handguns, one long weapon, [bullets], bulletproof jackets and approximately one kilogram of cocaine," said Sûreté du Quebec Sgt. Mélanie Dumaresq.

Dumaresq said police also seized jackets with the Devils Ghosts patch on them, along with three vehicles.

Police believe some of the weapons seized may have been used during an incident in Montreal North on July 22.

The five men will be in court on Thursday for a bail hearing.

In March, six people also connected to the gang were arrested and charged with drug-related offences.

The Devils Ghosts is a relatively new biker gang said to be affiliated with the Hells Angels.
