BIKER NEWS: Marshals Motorcycle Club launched
“Marshals MC is a law abiding family oriented motorcycle club that brings together motorcycle enthusiasts and their families,” said founder President Rashmin Mahamudalige.
He also said that this club will not tolerate drugs and weapons to be carried around like in some other countries where motorcycle gangs went about places creating disturbances in small colonies. It was created on the basic principal of riding and a love for motorcycles and with belief that ‘United we stand’. It is also a club where respect, pride, integrity and guts are what each member of the club stands for.
The Marshals which originated in Australia similarly have chapters that cover all continents. Their core mission is to increase camaraderie between personnel and create a more positive view of motorcycle clubs in the world. As a close-knit club, their activities will involve meet-ups with members and families, tour and charity rides, and awareness campaigns on their machines and motorcycling in general.
Seven founding members of the Sri Lankan chapter received their official club colours at this ceremony. They are President Rashmin Mahamudalige, Yasith Sameera Obeysekara, Dawson Newman, Kusal Tharindu, Indika Jude Fonseka and Lanka Jayasinghe.
