Police appeal after biker breaks ankle in Hartlepool road crash
Police have launched a witness appeal after a biker suffered a broken ankle in a Hartlepool road crash.
A Landrover Freelander and a Kawasaki motorbike collided on the A179 at the roundabout with Merlin Way, outside the Tall Ships pub, on Monday, at 2pm on Monday, August 24.
The 24-year-old bike rider was taken to the One Life Hospital in the town with a broken ankle.
He has since been released.
Any witnesses to the crash are asked to contact PC Darren Frankland from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 147764.
