BIKER NEWS: Former bikie pleads guilty to drugs charges and is forced to give up everything from his Harley Davidsons to his cutlery by his former gang mates

BN- After voluntarily leaving his gang, a former bikie who has been convicted on drugs charges has lost all of his possessions.

Everything from his cars and motorcycles to his clothing and cutlery was taken as his one-time associates took their own action.

Former Rebels bikie Shannon Brian Chapple, 27, was been jailed for more than four years after pleading guilty to possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply, Perth Now reported.

His lawyer told the Western Australia District Court that his belongings had been taken as a result of his co-operation.

As well as all of his property, Chapple, whose rise within the gang was described as 'meteoric', had to black out a Rebels tattoo or the gang would 'take care of that on him', the court was told.

Chapple was arrested earlier in 2015 after travelling by plane with a woman.



He had put 217 grams of the drug ice in her baggage without her knowing.

Bikies have been targeted by authorities lately after changes to the Migration Act.



Introduced in December 2014, the changes mean the visa of anyone involved in an organisation or gang that was reasonably suspected of being involved in criminal activity could be cancelled.

The person did not have to be convicted of a serious offence, or charged with one.

A number of other bikie gang members in WA have been targeted for deportation this year.
