BIKER NEWS: Free M6 Toll travel for thousands of bikers heading to National Memorial Arboretum near Lichfield
BN- THOUSANDS of motorcyclists will take part in the spectacular Ride To The Wall at the National Memorial Arboretum on Saturday.
More than 5,000 people have signed up for the event – the only one of its kind in the country that gives motorcycling enthusiasts the chance to show their support for the Armed Forces by making an annual pilgrimage to the arboretum off Croxall Road, Alrewas.
The motorcyclists and their passengers will attend a service of Remembrance at 2pm at the Armed Forces Memorial, which is engraved with the names of more than 16,000 Service men and women killed on duty or by terrorist action since the end of the Second World War.
Participants, who will ride to the event from one of 11 points across the UK, will be helping to raise funds for the arboretum.
