BIKER NEWS: Rancho Cucamonga motorcycle club shooting leaves 46-year-old dead
BN- A man was shot dead outside a motorcycle club during a memorial service Tuesday night, and sheriff’s detectives are searching for the shooter, officials said.
San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies found the 46-year-old man unresponsive outside the club in the 10000 block of Sixth Street near Hermosa Avenue just before 10:45 p.m., said Adam Cervantes, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department.
Paramedics took the wounded man to a hospital where he died.
The unidentified man was among those attending a memorial service at the club for a fellow member, deputies said. That person had died due to medical issues, officials at the scene said.
A slew of evidence markers littered the parking lot just outside the club, which is located in an industrial business park.
Several people, some friends of the man killed Tuesday night, remained at the shooting scene waiting for information as well as to try to get some of their vehicles out of the crime scene.
The investigation is being conducted by detectives from the sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division.
No arrests have been made, deputies said.
