BIKER NEWS: More jail for bikie who hit partner
BIKER NEWS -- A violent former bikie who terrorised and brutalised his former partner when she was pregnant with their child was sentenced to four years jail yesterday.
Tristan Roger Allbeury, 34, was found guilty after a District Court trial this year of repeated violence against the mother of his son.
Allbeury, who was described by Judge Linda Petrusa as a “bully and a brute”, began assaulting Nikitta Goddard soon after she met the former Finks bikie at a clubhouse in 2009.
Over the next year, he perforated Ms Goddard’s eardrum, stabbed her with scissors, used a shard of broken coffee cup to slash her wrist and slapped her in the presence of prison guards. The attacks did not stop when Ms Goddard became pregnant.
The court was told Allbeury repeatedly interrogated Ms Goddard and would hit her with his fists or weapons if he considered her responses “unsatisfactory”.
Judge Petrusa said Allbeury showed a callous disregard for her wellbeing.
“You have no respect whatsoever for Nikitta Goddard,” she said. “No woman or person should have to endure this.”
Allbeury was sentenced to three years and eight months in February after he pleaded guilty to selling or supplying methylamphetamine and threatening Ms Goddard from jail.
Judge Petrusa made his latest sentence cumulative.
Allbeury started his association with outlaw motorcycle gangs when he was a teenager. He said he had been “programmed to be ruthless”.
Allbeury will be eligible for parole in 2019.
