Annual motorcycle rally brings in funds for new equipment at Ipswich Hospital
BN - More than 60 members of Ipswich Triangle Motorcycle Club set off through Suffolk yesterday morning to raise funds for new equipment at Ipswich Hospital.
The group left Orwell Crossing truck stop on the A14 at 10.30am, and travelled through Woodbridge, Otley Crettingham, Earl Soham, Debenham, Hemmingworth and Tuddenham before ending the 50-mile trip at Ipswich School sports centre.
This year’s rally also marked the 90th anniversary of the club. It is expected to have raised around £250 for Brantham Ward at Ipswich Hospital.
Event organiser Neale Harrison said: “We are a local club, we like to give back to the community.”
