Motorcycle Run for Natalee Hightower
Dozens of motorcyclists took to the road Saturday riding in honor of a Whitesboro woman fighting cancer.
Riders from across Texoma rode their motorcycles from Justin, Texas to the Kiotee Club in Denison in support of 24-year-old Natalee Hightower.
Last year, doctors diagnosed Natalee with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer.
Her body stopped reacting to chemotherapy and now she is on home hospice. Doctors estimate she has six to nine months to live but Natalee remains positive.
"I'm not giving up," she said. "We're still trying home remedies and you never know, God gives blessings all the time so maybe I'll get a blessing."
Funds raised from Saturday's ride and festivities at the Kiotee Club will go toward Natelee's medical expenses.
To also help with Natalee's medical expenses, her family has set up a GoFundMe page: http://www.gofundme.com/lfyg4g.
