Movie, TV crews in town to film motorcycle expert
Biker personality and author Edward Winterhalder and members of the War Dogs Motorcycle Club will visit the area Saturday.
After being filmed for a potential TV series about the positive aspects of club life in the western Pennsylvania area for nearly a week, the War Dogs and their entourage will ride into the New Castle Harley-Davidson dealership for a book signing and meet-and-greet with Winterhalder. He is a leading authority on the biker lifestyle and motorcycle clubs.
The War Dogs is a western Pennsylvania motorcycle club “dedicated to developing a Fraternal Brotherhood of men with loyalty, discipline and character” that believes in “giving men a second chance in life,” according to its website. A large percentage of its members are former members of the military.
Movie and television crews will film the group from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the dealership on Route 422.
Winterhalder’s 10 books about the subject are published in multiple languages and sold all over the world. He will be autographing his books starting at 11 a.m., and copies will be available for sale to the public.
The New Castle Harley-Davidson is located at 4655 U.S. 422. For more information, contact the dealership at (724) 924-2310.
